Our Food Philosophy

A SIMPLE OBSESSION…

Yes, okay, we’re obsessed with good food.

It’s what we walk, what we talk, what we live and breathe.  And we really want to welcome you here to The Bunch to share all the fresh, seasonal vegetables, meats and produce that we’re lucky to get our hands on.

But, we don’t want to fuss you or indeed the food too much.  We believe our Welsh meat suppliers to be absolutely world-class and the vegetables we source to be the best in their field.  Quite honestly, there is never too much process in our cooking.  We like to create new and exciting flavours in uncomplicated ways that allow quality ingredients to shine through.

Our meats are sourced from farms within a 50-mile radius, our vegetables as locally as possible (sometimes from allotments).  We grow what we can in our own small kitchen garden, and all of our fish is sourced from sustainable sources on the coasts of Wales and Cornwall.  We bake all of our bread every-morning for the bar and restaurant, and you can even buy a loaf to take home with you.

So yes, we care about our suppliers and producers, our heart and souls go in to our dishes, we concern ourselves with the local economy and independent businesses.

What makes us happiest is sharing all this with our customers.
