Our Food Philosophy

Relaxed and Simple…

Yes OK, we are a bit obsessive about good food, we cant help it, we just love working with fresh, seasonal ingredients, locally sourced and sustainable, creating new and exciting flavours in a simple uncomplicated way that allows the ingredients to shine through.

Our meats are sourced from farms within a 30-mile radius, rare breed when we can, our veg grown in Abercynon for us and in our own kitchen garden, fish from sustainable sources on the coasts of Wales and Cornwall line caught tagged and never trawled.

Bread is baked fresh every day in our kitchens for the restaurant and the deli, nothing is bought in ready prepared, our chefs keen to flex their creative minds at every opportunity.

So yes we are passionate about supporting local artisan producers and working with them, keeping the local economy alive and growing local business not filling the pockets of faceless disconnected corporations, so if you know of an independent food producer within 30 miles of the Bunch please tip us off, if we take them on we will even buy you a beer!
