Cask Conditioned Ales

At the Bunch of Grapes we pride ourselves on offering a strong selection of Cask Conditioned Ales from across the United Kingdom, kept well and served properly.

We are as enthusiastic about our Ale as we are our Food.

Our Seven hand pumps are testament to our commitment to choice and turnover of beer, so that there is always an ale to suit you. Micro brewing in the UK is experiencing a revival right now and some amazing new beers are making it through to the bar in pubs up and down the land.

At our regular Beer Festivals (see ‘Events’) we are able to offer as many as twenty-two real ales, all on handpull, often being the first in Wales to offer particular beers.

With beer festivals every two months and our newly launched Bunch Beer Academy our reputation for real ales is rapidly growing with some impressive awards to show for our effort.

Our house ale is the flagship brew, “O1″, from our award winning brewery Otley Brewing Co. Alongside this we aim to offer two other Otley beers, when possible.

Our other Real Ales are sourced from all over the UK including Dark Star, Thornbridge, Oakham, Purple Moose, R.C.H. to name just a few.

We also stock a varied selection of Continental and foreign beers with over 30 different bottles available and 4 Draught taps. There really is a beer to suit all tastes. Once a year we have an American thanksgiving food and beer festival where we regularly feature up to 10 American craft beers that you wont find anywhere else in Wales.

Welsh Cider

Due in part to the recent revival in interest in cider since the summer of 2006 there has been a growth in cider and Perry producers in Wales. We strive to support local producers and stock bottles and traditional ciders/perry on 2 hand pumps. Proving popular throughout the year these ciders and perries really are something special.

This pump features Beers that you probably won’t find anywhere else on draught in Wales. A rotating pump, we offer just a keg of each beer.
